I have trouble logging in, what can I do?

Try these steps

  1. Check for typos - Use the ‘Show Password' icon to check your details and make sure there’s no spaces either. We encourage to manually type your details instead of copy and paste.
  1. Clear browser cache or try a different browser/incognito (private) mode.
  1. Reset your password using the password reset
  1. Still stuck? Email us from your registered address to let us know, attaching a screenshot of the error you see.

Where are the module summary and resources?

Module summaries and resources are available for download after completing each module. You can return to any completed module to re-download them if needed, by clicking on the "Resources" button displayed under each module.

Can I get advice on the exercises in my summary worksheet?

We offer general guidance on program skills but aren’t equipped to provide tailored clinical advice or handle detailed personal information. For questions about your specific circumstances, we recommend seeking support from your supervising clinician for the program, your GP or other mental healthcare provider.

Can I view my questionnaire data?

Yes, log in to your Patient Dashboard and click on the "Progress" tab in the top menu bar, to view your questionnaire scores and track your progress.

Can I get my program paused or extended?

To extend your program, log into your account, and then click the blue “Extend access” button to gain an additional 90 days of access. For program pausing, email contact@thiswayupclinic.org

I don’t know which program to choose, can you help?

You can complete our anonymous 'Wellbeing Test' tool to receive a treatment program recommendation based on your responses.

Please note the suggestions generated are not diagnostic and are for decision support purposes only. For tailored advice in picking a program suited to your needs, please consult your GP or mental healthcare provider.

Is there a cost involved?

We offer certain treatment programs for free (Insomnia, Mindfulness, Stress and Student Wellbeing) or you can access our other programs for free with a prescription from your clinician. If you choose to self-enrol in a program without a clinician, there is a one-time fee of AUD $59.

Do I need a referral?

You can self-enrol in our programs without a referral. You can also obtain a referral from a clinician, who can prescribe you the program for free. Note: People living outside of Australia are required as per our Terms of Use to sign up through the clinician-supervised pathway.

Can I switch programs?

Unfortunately, we are unable to discuss your medical condition or provide you with personalised health advice.

I heard about your programs through a colleague/client. How do I sign up to prescribe?

Are you getting the error message “Login was not successful. Please check your email and password and try again”?

If so, there are a few things you can try, as below:

  1. Check that there are no spaces or gaps when entering your email address and password, try entering these manually instead of copy and pasting.
  2. If the above doesn’t work, try clearing your web browser cookies and cache (this is located in your web browser’s settings). Alternately, you could try using a different web browser
  3. If following Step 2 still doesn’t make a difference, you can request a password reset.

If you have any further questions or require technical support to log in, please email us from the email address that is registered for the THIS WAY UP account; please attach a screenshot of any errors you are seeing when trying to log in.

Are there costs for me or my patients/clients?  

Your clinician account is free to set up, and you can use our fee waiver each time you prescribe a program, so your patients/clients won’t need to pay.

What happens after I prescribe a program?

Our system will send your patient/client an email invitation to register. When they complete registration, their record will show in your clinician account for you to monitor progress. Our automated safety management system will email you for follow-up should the patient/client self-report high distress or risk scores.

Can I preview the programs first?

Yes, all our programs are available to preview in your Clinician Dashboard. Click on the "Programs" tab and select the relevant program, to access the program preview.
